SGX has a multi-pronged approach on its sustainability efforts, and the Sustainability and Sustainable Finance (SSF) department plays a critical role in driving SGX’s strategic sustainability direction and execution.
Full-time opportunity in the SSF team
The successful candidate will play a critical role in furthering SGX’s sustainable and transition financing and trading products and solutions, and play a key role in our on-going strategy development and execution. The candidate will work closely with the product teams to showcase our thought leadership in existing and new sustainable products e.g. proposed new sustainability-related index launches by SGX iEdge, or engage with clients together with our global sales and origination team and product teams to effectively share our sustainability initiatives as well as key solutions that address the clients’ needs.
A successful candidate would:
- Have strong sustainable investing knowledge
- Have direct work experience in or strong familiarity with equities, index and index related/linked products and/or exchanges as a business and/or research
- Ideally have had experience in sustainability related products/solutions conceptualisation, roll-out and research
- Be a clear and articulate communicator and presenter (verbally and written), with the ability to create clear narratives from complex ideas to key stakeholders e.g. clients or prospective clients
