Investment Analyst and Relationship Manager, to help us take forward and deliver our funding strategy. City Bridge Foundation was set up around 900 years ago and our primary aim is to maintain five Thames bridges, but we are also London’s largest independent funder.

City Bridge Foundation is a vibrant, innovative funder supporting charitable activity across London. Our vision is for London to be a city where everyone can thrive and we aim to reduce inequality and grow stronger, more resilient and thriving communities. As the Social Investment Analyst and Relationship Manager, you will make a significant contribution towards the successful delivery of this strategy.

The charity is starting an ambitious new phase of work, launching plans for a place-based social investment programme that helps reduce inequality and grow stronger, more resilient and thriving communities.

You will act as the first point of contact for prospective investees, supporting them to shape their plans and helping us ensure our work has a clear focus on equalities. You will also be the relationship manager across our portfolio, working with organisations as we realise our aim of being a flexible, inclusive, and patient investor. You will analyse and recommend investment opportunities, place, and manage agreed holdings, as well as build relationships with other social investors to identify partnership opportunities.

You will play a key role in establishing this next phase of the charity’s work, helping ensure we direct more money to a wider range of social purpose organisations and achieve our ambitions for a balanced investment portfolio that meets the charity’s social and financial targets.
